1 cup whole milk

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 1/2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin powder

3 tablespoons cold water (for blooming the gelatin)

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Instructions
 

Infuse the Cream:

    In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar. Stir gently until the mixture is warmed through and the sugar is completely dissolved. Be careful not to let it boil.
