Ingredients

4 large ears of fresh corn, husked

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped (plus extra for garnish)

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon paprika (optional)

A squeeze of fresh lemon juice (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Grill: Begin by preheating your grill to medium-high heat. If you prefer to boil the corn, fill a large pot with water and bring it to a rolling boil.

Prepare the Corn: Carefully husk the corn, ensuring all silk and threads are removed. Rinse the ears of corn under cold running water to ensure they are clean.

Make the Garlic Butter Mixture: In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, finely chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and paprika (if using). Stir until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth.

Coat the Corn: Using a pastry brush, generously apply the garlic butter mixture over each ear of corn, making sure to coat them evenly for maximum flavor.

          Cook the Corn:

            - For Grilling: Place the prepared corn directly on the grill grates. Grill for about 10-12 minutes, turning the corn every few minutes, until it is beautifully charred and tender.

              - For Boiling: Submerge the corn in the boiling water and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until tender.

Finish with Cheese: Once the corn is cooked to perfection, remove it from the grill or pot. Immediately sprinkle the remaining grated Parmesan cheese over the hot corn, allowing it to melt slightly from the heat.

Serve: Arrange the corn on a serving platter. For added richness, drizzle with a little extra melted butter, sprinkle with additional chopped parsley for color, and finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice over each ear for a bright, zesty touch.

Enjoy: Serve the corn warm and indulge in the irresistible flavors of garlic and Parmesan in every delicious bite!
