Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1 cup rolled oats

½ cup honey or maple syrup

1 cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans), roughly chopped

1 cup mixed dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, apricots), roughly chopped

½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Pinch of sea salt

Optional: Dark chocolate chips for an indulgent drizzle

Instructions

Prepare the Yogurt Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), pure vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and pinch of sea salt. Use a whisk to mix thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and creamy. This will be the flavorful base for your clusters.

Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix together the rolled oats, chopped mixed nuts, and chopped dried fruit. For an extra flavor boost, consider adding a sprinkle of additional cinnamon or a pinch of ground nutmeg to the dry mixture.

Combine the Mixtures: Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the yogurt mixture using a spatula or wooden spoon. Stir gently but thoroughly so that all of the dry ingredients are fully coated with the yogurt mixture.

Form the Clusters: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean-up. Using a spoon or your hands, scoop out about 1-2 tablespoons of the mixture and form small clusters. Arrange these clusters on the lined baking sheet, leaving a little space between them to ensure even freezing.

Freeze the Clusters: Once you’ve formed all the clusters, place the baking sheet in the freezer. Allow them to freeze for a minimum of 3-4 hours, or until the clusters are completely solid and firm to the touch.

Drizzle with Chocolate (optional): For a chocolatey twist, melt some dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, heating it in 20-second intervals until fully melted. Use a fork to drizzle the melted chocolate over the frozen clusters. Place them back in the freezer to allow the chocolate to set.

Store and Serve: Once completely frozen and set, transfer the clusters to an airtight container. Store them in the freezer until you're ready to enjoy, making for a refreshing and healthy snack whenever the craving hits!
