Ingredients
  

  • 2.0 whole ripe avocados
  • 1.0 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2.0 large eggs
  • 1.0 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1.0 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1.0 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1.0 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1.0 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1.0 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1.0 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1.0 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1.0 teaspoon honey
  • 0.0 pinch salt

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Avocados: Cut each avocado half into wedges, about 4-6 wedges per half. Carefully scoop out the flesh and cut it into fry-like shapes.
  • Set Up the Breading Stations: Prepare three shallow dishes—one for the flour, one for the beaten eggs, and one for the breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and Parmesan cheese (if using).
  • Dredge the Avocado Wedges: Dip each avocado wedge into the flour first, shaking off excess. Then, dip into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off, followed by the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated. Place them on a plate.
  • Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Air Fry the Avocado Fries: Arrange the breaded avocado wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to do this in batches. Lightly spray the fries with cooking spray for added crispiness.
  • Cook: Air fry for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  • Prepare the Spicy Dip: In a small bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt (or sour cream), sriracha, lime juice, honey, and a pinch of salt. Adjust the sriracha based on your desired spice level.
  • Serve: Once the avocado fries are crispy and golden, remove them from the air fryer and serve immediately with the spicy dip on the side.
