Begin by washing the cucumber and lemon thoroughly under cool running water to eliminate any dirt and pesticides. This ensures your detox water is as clean as possible.

    Use a sharp knife to slice the cucumber into thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick. Repeat this process with the lemon, making sure to create similar round slices. Setting them in uniform thickness helps to infuse the flavors evenly.

      In a large pitcher, combine the freshly sliced cucumber, lemon, and mint leaves. If you choose to include chia seeds for an extra health boost and a fun texture, add them at this stage as well.

        Carefully pour the filtered water over the mixture in the pitcher, ensuring all the sliced ingredients are fully submerged for maximum flavor extraction.
