Ingredients

  • 1.0 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3.0 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2.0 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1.0 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1.0 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 0.0 optional Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.0 optional Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Prepare the Brussels Sprouts: Wash and trim the Brussels sprouts. Cut them in half from stem to root, ensuring the leaves stay intact.
  • Make the Marinade: In a large bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey (or maple syrup), garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes, if using.
  • Coat the Brussels Sprouts: Add the halved Brussels sprouts to the bowl and toss well to coat them evenly with the marinade.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes to ensure even cooking.
  • Air Fry the Brussels Sprouts: Place the marinated Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook them at 375°F for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to promote even crispiness. The sprouts should be golden brown and crispy on the outside while tender inside.
  • Serve: Once done, remove the Brussels sprouts from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish. Optionally, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
  • Enjoy your Tangy Snack: Serve hot as a delightful tangy snack or side dish!

Notes
