Ingredients

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced into bite-sized pieces

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

3 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated flaky biscuits

Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C), ensuring it's fully heated before you bake.

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add the diced chicken pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Sauté the chicken for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is completely cooked through and no longer pink in the center.

Add Garlic: Reduce the heat slightly and add the minced garlic to the skillet. Stir and cook for an additional minute, allowing the garlic to become fragrant without burning.

Prepare the Sauce: Lower the heat to medium-low and carefully pour in the heavy cream and Alfredo sauce, stirring well to combine. Allow the mixture to come to a gentle simmer. Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, stirring continuously until the cheese has melted and the sauce is silky smooth. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning with more salt or pepper as needed.

Assembly: Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray or a little olive oil. Spread the creamy chicken Alfredo mixture evenly across the bottom of the dish. Open the can of biscuits and cut each biscuit into four pieces. Evenly scatter the biscuit pieces over the creamy chicken and sauce layer.

Add Cheese: Generously sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the biscuit pieces, ensuring an even coverage.

Bake: Carefully place the baking dish in the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuit pieces are golden brown and fully cooked, and the cheese is bubbling.

Serve: After baking, remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes to set. Before serving, garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor.

Enjoy your delightful and comforting Creamy Chicken Alfredo Biscuit Bake!
