Ingredients

12 oz penne pasta

2 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped

2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for added crunch)

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare it for baking.

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, roughly 8-10 minutes. Once done, drain the pasta and set it aside.

Sauté the Spinach: In a large skillet, pour in the olive oil and warm it over medium heat. Add the chopped spinach and sauté it for about 2-3 minutes until it wilts down. Once wilted, remove the skillet from the heat.

Combine the Cheeses: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked penne pasta, wilted spinach, ricotta cheese, 1 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Gently fold in the Alfredo sauce until everything is evenly mixed.

Assemble the Dish: Transfer the pasta mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly to ensure a balanced bake.

Add the Toppings: Sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese generously on top of the pasta mixture. If you'd like a crunchy texture, feel free to sprinkle breadcrumbs on top as well.

Bake to Perfection: Place your baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. The dish is ready when it is bubbly and the top is beautifully golden.

Garnish & Serve: Remove the baked penne from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley for a vibrant touch before serving.

                  Prep Time: 15 min | Total Time: 50 min | Servings: 6

                    - Presentation Tips: For an elegant presentation, serve the baked penne in individual portions on warm plates, drizzled with a little extra Alfredo sauce and topped with additional fresh herbs. Enjoy your delightful meal!
