Ingredients

20 fresh or frozen cheese ravioli

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian seasoned)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 large eggs

1 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon fresh basil (or 1/4 teaspoon dried)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Cooking spray

Instructions

Prep the Ravioli:

    - If you’re using fresh ravioli, they are ready to go. For frozen ravioli, thaw them in the refrigerator for several hours or place them in boiling water for 1-2 minutes to soften. Make sure to drain them well and pat them dry with a kitchen towel to remove excess moisture.

      Prepare the Breading Station:

        - In one medium bowl, whisk together the two large eggs until well blended.

          - In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, basil, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until the ingredients are evenly distributed.

            Coat the Ravioli:

              - Take each ravioli and dip it into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated. Then, roll the ravioli in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the crumbs stick well. Repeat this process for all ravioli.

                Air Fry:

                  - Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C). Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

                    - Arrange the breaded ravioli in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they do not touch each other; this may require cooking in batches to achieve the best crispiness.

                      Cook:

                        - Air fry the ravioli for 8-10 minutes. Flip them halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning, until they are golden and crispy.

                          Serve:

                            - Once cooked, remove the toasted ravioli bites from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute. Serve them warm alongside a bowl of marinara sauce for dipping.
